Today is one of those days where I want to get in the car and just drive. No destination. The music I want to hear. A bottle of water. My pad and a pen. Sorting out the thoughts clouding my mind.
I meant to post this yesterday, but I guess I got distracted. I’m in a good mood today. I may be singing some JT as I walk around cleaning up from lunch. I had a salad with a few cups of coffee. I love Giant Eagle’s Market District coffee. It has such a great flavor. I may have my family/friends send me some when I’m out west. I’ll miss their Market District teas too....

I feel very creative right now. I love when this feeling comes over me. I think I’m going to work on a song I started a few months ago. I love the chorus for it, but I never put any verses around it. It’s about time I do that. Daft Punk leaked today, and The Weeknd debuted a song clip. WHAT?! It’s not even Tuesday, and we’re off to a good music start. I bet the full song...

I forgot to mention my ride home from work earlier. I had the windows down. There was a slight chill in the air. It smelled of earth and rain outside. The combination of it all reminded me of my youth when I’d play soccer in the fall. Alt-J served as a fitting soundtrack to it all. It was a lovely moment.

This has been an amazing weekend! Record Store Day started off horribly because I was feeling sick on the way to Pittsburgh, but i shook it Friday night somewhere between the South Side and Millvale. Well I listened to the new Fall Out Boy record on Monday. It isn’t bad, but it isn’t what I was expecting. I didn’t want to make any rash decisions on the project with only one listen under my belt. I was waiting for a solid leak to give it another go. 128? Please. I’ll bide my time. Don’t worry; I’m buying the vinyl next week if it’s at the record store....
